Flood control embankment collapses in Saghata after renovation

A newly renovated flood control embankment in Saghata, Gaibandha, has collapsed due to unauthorized heavy tractor traffic and lack of maintenance. The damage has rendered the path from the local high school to Daktarbangla Bazar impassable and significantly increased the risk of local flooding during the ongoing monsoon season.
