Attempted push-in of three individuals at Joypurhat border followed by their disappearance

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) initially thwarted an attempt by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) to push three individuals into Bangladesh through the West Ramkrishnapur border in Joypurhat Sadar on July 11, 2026. However, on the morning of July 12, 2026, the three individuals—an elderly couple and one woman—went missing from the zero line. Local residents allege they were under BGB supervision before disappearing, while BGB claims the BSF removed them.
