Ruchika Food Industries fined in Noakhali for food safety violations

On August 17, 2026, the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection conducted a raid at Ruchika Food Industries in Noakhali Sadar. The facility was found producing cakes and 'honeycombs' using rotten eggs and contaminated sugar syrup in unsanitary conditions. The bakery was fined 40,000 BDT, and the hazardous ingredients were seized and destroyed.
