Tourist dies after being swept away by currents at Banshbaria Beach

Meheraj Hossain, a 19-year-old tourist, drowned at Banshbaria Beach in Sitakunda on Friday afternoon after being swept away by strong tidal currents. Despite rescue attempts, he was declared dead upon arrival at the Sitakunda Upazila Health Complex.
