A venomous Russell's Viper was caught in a fisherman's net in the char area of the Padma river in Harirampur, Manikganj, on June 30, 2026. The fisherman safely captured the snake, which was subsequently rescued by the Forest Department in coordination with the Snake Rescue Team Bangladesh.
