Aedes mosquito larvae found in Gulshan, restaurant fined

A special task force for controlling mosquito-borne diseases conducted an inspection in the Gulshan-2 area of Dhaka on June 24, 2026. During the drive, a restaurant was fined 50,000 BDT after significant quantities of Aedes mosquito larvae were found in an abandoned container. The task force also inspected construction sites and residential buildings to promote Dengue prevention.
