Explosion at Ummul Qura International Madrasa, Keraniganj

On December 26, 2025, an explosion occurred at a house rented as an Ummul Qura International Madrasa in South Keraniganj, Dhaka, due to the mishandling of stored chemicals and explosives. The incident caused structural damage and resulted in injuries to the director and his family, leading to the arrest of 17 individuals linked to Neo-JMB.
