Dengue outbreak in Chittagong: 2,517 infected and 23 dead

An ongoing dengue outbreak in Chittagong has resulted in 2,517 infections and 23 deaths across the district so far this year. The City Corporation Mayor reports that while 10 people died within the city, 13 deaths occurred in the wider district, specifically identifying Sitakunda Upazila as a hotspot. Authorities are continuing control measures, including the application of BTI larvicide in the city.
