Embankment breach at Bolai River destroys rice crops in Zinariya Haor

Continuous heavy rainfall and upstream water flow caused an embankment breach along the Bolai River in Mukshedpur, Chamordani Union. The resulting flooding submerged paddy fields, destroying the livelihoods of over 50 'Jirati' farmers who had seasonal settlements for harvesting.
