Panic over suspicious pressure cooker bomb found at a mosque field and madrasa in Savar and subsequently neutralized by police

A suspicious pressure cooker wrapped in black scotch tape was discovered inside a plastic drum at the Laltek Ghora Mosque grounds in Sadhapur Goperbari, and another instance was reported at the Jamia Ilmul Ilah Society Madrasa and Jame Mosque in Bongaon Union, Savar, on August 11, 2026. The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) and CTTC Bomb Disposal Unit safely neutralized the devices in a controlled environment, resulting in no injuries or damage to property.
