Two officials jailed for supplying spoiled food to students in Madaripur

Officials of Samata Traders were arrested and sent to jail by a court in Madaripur for supplying contaminated food to primary school students. On April 8, several students in the Sadar upazila fell ill after consuming the supplied bread, bananas, and eggs, requiring hospitalization. A legal case was subsequently filed by the headteacher of the 165 No. Pokrar Char Government Primary School.
