Youth dies in wall collapse in Rahmannagar, Chattogram, 4 others injured
A 32-year-old man named Shafiqur Rahman (also referred to as Sofikul Islam) died and four others—including his 1.5-year-old daughter and mother-in-law—were injured when a boundary wall collapsed onto tin-shed houses in the Rahmannagar area of Panchlaish, Chattogram, following heavy rain on July 7, 2026. Local residents and the Fire Service conducted rescue operations, and the injured were taken to Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
