Chittagong City Corporation Launches 3-Month Dengue Prevention Campaign

On September 12, 2026, the Chattogram City Corporation launched a three-month dengue prevention and cleanliness campaign to control the rising cases of Aedes-borne diseases. As of September, 2,742 dengue cases have been reported in the Chattogram district. Mayor Dr. Shahadat Hossain emphasized community involvement, proper waste management, and the use of BTI, larvicides, and adulticides to eradicate mosquito breeding grounds.
