School building collapses in Khulna, major accident averted

A two-story academic building of Gazi Abdul Jabbar High School and College in Koyra, Khulna, collapsed on Friday afternoon. Since the school was closed for the weekly holiday, no injuries or deaths occurred. The building had been declared risky due to structural damage from past cyclones and lack of maintenance.
