Construction of a bridge in Kamalganj halted, causing suffering for 25 villages

The construction of a bridge in Kamalganj, Moulvibazar, has been stalled for a long time despite the project deadline passing in March 2026. Only 25% of the work is complete, and the abandoned site has caused multiple issues: flooding of nearby homes during rains, structural hazards on temporary crossings that have injured students, and transport difficulties for 20,000 residents.
