Armed attack on joint forces camp in Jangle Salimpur, Sitakunda

On May 25, 2026, an armed group attacked a joint force RAB/police camp in the Alinagar area of Jangle Salimpur, Sitakunda. The attackers used gunfire and heavy equipment to demolish the camp's wall, resulting in 10-12 law enforcement injuries. A subsequent joint operation lasted two hours and resulted in several arrests.
