Fire on a naval police speedboat in Mongla; driver survives by jumping into the river
A fuel-laden police speedboat caught fire in the Poshur River at Digraj Ghat in Mongla, Bagerhat, on Wednesday night. The boat driver, Constable Kazi Mahbub Hasan, sustained burn injuries while starting the engine and jumped into the river to save his life. He is currently receiving treatment at Mongla Port Hospital and is out of danger.
