Blocked Drainage Path Leads to Waterlogging in Patiya, Wall Removed by Administration

Blocked drainage at Mongoler Tek in Patiya's Haidgaon union resulted in waterlogging for 200 families. The trapped water submerged agricultural land and fish ponds due to an illegal wall obstructing drainage. Following media reports, the Upazila administration intervened and demolished the wall on August 19, 2026, resolving the crisis.
