Mother and infant daughter killed in motorcycle-bus collision on Dhaka-Aricha Highway

On the afternoon of Saturday, September 26, 2026, a Golden Line Paribahan bus traveling on the wrong side of the road struck a motorcycle near the Tepra bus stand on the Dhaka-Aricha Highway in Shivalaya, Manikganj. The accident resulted in the deaths of a 26-year-old mother, Soniya Akter, and her 10-month-old daughter, Jannat, while the motorcycle driver, Abul Hossain, was injured.
