Persistent heavy rainfall and Sangu river overflow caused severe flooding in Satkania, Chattogram. Approximately 400,000 people were stranded across 17 unions, facing critical food and water shortages. Infrastructure, including roads and mobile networks, was severely disrupted, and many homes, crops, and livestock were lost. A 60-year-old man, Mohammad Forkan, died during the crisis. The Bangladesh Air Force (Zahurul Haque Base), in coordination with the local administration, conducted relief operations by distributing dry food, clean water, and emergency medicine under the direction of the Chief of Air Staff. While conditions are improving, many families remain displaced.
