Severe waterlogging due to filling of century-old pond in Paschim Nikli, Kishoreganj

The illegal filling of a century-old pond in Paschim Nikli, Kishoreganj, has blocked natural drainage, causing severe waterlogging across seven villages. Approximately 10,000 people are suffering, with submerged roads and school facilities—including the West Nikli Government Primary School—disrupting education, health, and daily life.
