Severe Waterlogging and Ongoing Relief Operations in Sitakunda, Chattogram

Continuous heavy rainfall and mountain runoff have caused severe waterlogging in Sitakunda, Chattogram, trapping thousands of residents. Many homes are submerged in Bashbaria, Bhatiari unions, and the Pourashava, forcing families in the Jungle Bhatiari Ashrayan project to seek higher ground. The local administration, led by the Upazila Nirbahi Officer, is distributing emergency food, water, and medicine to affected areas.
