Fire at Chittagong Port's New Mooring Container Terminal

A fire broke out in a Rubber-Tyred Gantry (RTG) crane engine at the New Mooring Container Terminal (NCT) of Chittagong Port on Monday afternoon. The Port Fire Service and the Navy successfully brought the fire under control within an hour, preventing major damage or casualties, though four containers were partially damaged.
