Two children, Maha (9) and Tanha Akhter (10), drowned in a pond while bathing in Danu Haji Bari, Ward 3, Boromanika Union, Burhanuddin, Bhola, on the morning of October 23, 2026. The victims were students of Manikahat Government Primary School. Locals recovered the victims and they were declared dead upon arrival at the hospital.
