Thousands of residents in Mirzaganj, Patuakhali, experienced prolonged power outages on Wednesday due to severe weather conditions and acute electricity shortages. Falling trees caused significant damage to power lines, while supply deficits limit the Upazila to half of its 8MW demand, severely disrupting daily life and student education.
