Two tourists die after drowning at Cox's Bazar beach
On August 26, 2026, two cousins, Ibrahim Khan (23) and Yasin Khan (25), drowned while swimming at Sugandha beach in Cox's Bazar. Yasin's body was recovered by lifeguards on the same day, while Ibrahim's body was recovered two days later near Sonadia beach in Maheshkhali upazila.
