Train accident at Kalihati, Tangail: Housewife killed
On June 8, 2026, at 10:30 AM, 28-year-old Mukta Akter was struck and killed by the Nilsagar Express train while attempting to cross an unguarded railway crossing in Solla/Salonga, Kalihati, Tangail. Her husband, who was accompanying her, witnessed the incident. Her body was later recovered by police and sent to Tangail General Hospital for autopsy.
