Drug-addicted youth sets fire to home after being denied money for drugs in Kishoreganj

On the night of September 23, 2026, a drug-addicted youth named Ful Miah set fire to his own home in Borokhar-char, Kuliyarchar, after locking his family outside. While the fire caused no human injuries, it destroyed household property, documents, and approximately 50 poultry birds, causing an estimated loss of 5 lakh BDT. The perpetrator was arrested by the police following the incident.
