Ongoing Livelihood and Safety Crisis for Fishermen in Cox's Bazar

Over 100,000 fishermen in Cox's Bazar district are facing a severe livelihood crisis due to cumulative impacts of climate-related hazards, fuel shortages, and piracy. In the last 15-20 days, at least 15 trawlers were looted, leaving 28 fishermen injured, while 45 were rescued by the Navy and Coast Guard.
