Allegations of deaths of twin fetuses due to medical malpractice

A pregnant woman, Hosneara Begum, lost her six-month-old twin fetuses following treatment by a homeopathic doctor, Anwara Parveen, in Konabari, Gazipur, on July 27, 2026. The family alleges that the doctor administered a medication that induced premature labor, leading to the fetal deaths. Local police have facilitated the transfer of the victim to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital for medical attention and are awaiting a formal complaint to proceed with an investigation.
