Hundreds of cargo vessels protest against doubled toll fees at Patlai River

Hundreds of cargo vessel workers have been protesting at the Patlai River in Tahirpur, Sunamganj, for six days due to an arbitrary doubling of toll fees by the contractor Tahiya Stone Crusher. This strike has halted coal and limestone transport, leaving workers stranded without food or water in extreme heat.
