7 houses burnt down in Domar, Nilphamari due to mosquito smoke fire

On the night of Saturday, April 11, 2026, a fire broke out in the Madrasa Para area of Domar Municipality, Nilphamari, caused by sparks from husks lit for mosquito smoke. The fire destroyed seven houses, causing an estimated property loss of 3 lakh BDT. There were no human casualties reported, and the incident was brought under control by the local fire service and police.
