Fire at Siddhirganj Power Substation

A fire broke out at the Electricity Generation Company of Bangladesh (EGCB) 350 MW power plant substation in Siddhirganj, Narayanganj, on Friday afternoon. Two units of the Adamjee EPZ Fire Service successfully brought the blaze under control, preventing a major disaster involving a high-value transformer and stored oil.
