Lalmonirhat-Burimari Highway Road Hazards

The 100-kilometer-long Lalmonirhat-Burimari highway has become a death trap due to 84 hazardous bends and 11 railway level crossings. Between January 2025 and March 2026, 70 accidents occurred on this route, resulting in approximately 50 deaths and over 100 injuries.
