Death of a fisherman 9 days after a snakebite

A 30-year-old fisherman named Bablu died in Daulatkhan, Bhola, nine days after being bitten by a venomous snake while fishing in the Meghna River. Despite receiving treatment at multiple hospitals, including Dhaka Medical College Hospital, he succumbed to the venom's effects after his family had to discharge him due to a lack of funds for continued medical care.
