Removal and disposal of 9 containers of hazardous chemicals from Chattogram Port

Nine containers carrying approximately 151 tons of hazardous and expired chemicals, including thinner, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, and methanol, which had been abandoned at Chattogram Port for up to 23 years, were removed for safe destruction in Rupganj, Narayanganj. The operation involved 12 government and private agencies to mitigate severe risks of fire and explosion.
