Two construction workers killed and three injured in landslide during culvert construction in Cox's Bazar
On June 4, 2026, two construction workers, identified as Mohammad Rakib and Mohammad Ilias, were killed and three others injured when a landslide occurred at a bridge/culvert construction site along the Cox's Bazar-Teknaf Marine Drive in the Darianagar area. The victims were employees of Lucky Enterprise and were digging a foundation for the structure when soil collapsed from an adjacent hill.
