Three-year-old Sara Moni (Saramoni), who suffered severe burn injuries in a kitchen fire in Thawsal Para village, Sadar Union, Durgapur, Netrokona, on January 17, 2026, is receiving treatment at the National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute in Dhaka. The Acting Speaker, Barrister Kaiser Kamal, has taken responsibility for her medical care, including surgeries to address her back and arm burn-fused skin.
