BGB foils attempted push-in of 7 people at the border

On the early morning of July 9, 2026, the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) successfully prevented an attempt by the Border Security Force (BSF) of India to push seven individuals into Bangladesh territory at the Kalairag border in Companyganj, Sylhet. Following the BGB's intervention, the individuals were forced to return to Indian territory.
