Former Additional Secretary dies after fall at Officers' Club construction site

On October 15, 2026, a 72-year-old former Additional Secretary, Md. Mosharraf Hossain, fell from the first basement to the third basement of an under-construction building at the Officers' Club in Ramna, Dhaka. He was rescued in critical condition and transferred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries later that night.
