Nationwide Road Accidents Involving Students (January-June 2026)

Between January and June 2026, 360 students died and 109 were injured in 320 road accidents across Bangladesh, as reported by the Bangladesh Jatri Kalyan Samity. The association highlighted a lack of road safety education and awareness programs for students, teachers, and guardians, advocating for stronger safety measures in educational institutions.
