13 individuals stranded in no-man's land at Jashore border following BSF push-back attempt; resolved by authorities

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) attempted to push 13 individuals, including women and children, into Bangladesh through the border areas in Sharsha, Jashore, near Sadipur and Benapole starting on May 31, 2026. The group was stranded in no-man's land for multiple days, facing a humanitarian crisis, until they were eventually removed by Indian authorities after resistance from Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB).
