Two laborers killed in bus accident in Banani

On April 23, 2026, a bus belonging to Bhuiyan Paribahan struck two Dhaka North City Corporation laborers while attempting to overtake another vehicle in the Chairmanbari area of Banani, Dhaka. The accident resulted in two fatalities at the scene and left five others injured, who were subsequently transported to Kurmitola General Hospital.
