Bangladeshi youth's leg severed in landmine explosion at Naikhongchhari border
A 25-year-old Bangladeshi man, Abdul Karim, suffered a severed leg after stepping on a landmine while crossing into Myanmar's Rakhine state near the Naikhongchhari border. The incident occurred at approximately 2:00 PM on Tuesday. Local residents rescued the victim and transported him to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital for treatment.
