Human chain demanding permanent embankment to prevent erosion in Ariyal Khan River

Residents of Char Nasirpur Union in Sadarpur, Faridpur, organized a human chain on September 5, 2026, to demand a permanent embankment to stop severe riverbank erosion on the Ariyal Khan River. The ongoing erosion has already claimed over 100 houses and hundreds of bighas of agricultural land, forcing many families to flee their homes.
