Housewife dies from burn injuries after gas lighter explosion in Thakurgaon
A 45-year-old housewife, Banu Begum, died after a gas lighter exploded while she was lighting a mosquito coil in her home in Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila, causing a fire that also ignited a nearby motorcycle. She succumbed to her severe burn injuries at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in Dhaka two days later.
