A gas explosion and residential fire occurred in a house in Chanpur, Madanpur Union, Bandar Upazila, Narayanganj on June 11, 2026. Caused by a Titas gas line and LPG cylinder leak, the incident resulted in the deaths of four family members. Five individuals, including women and children, were injured and received treatment at the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in Dhaka.
