Erosion and Recurring Collapse of the Approach Road to Matlab Bridge, Chandpur

Severe erosion and structural collapse have occurred on the northern approach road to the Matlab Bridge over the Dhanagoda River in Baishpur, Chandpur, due to persistent heavy rainfall. A large tunnel-like cavity has formed under the road, creating a dangerous condition for daily commuters and heavy transport. Local administration has inspected the site and initiated emergency repair works to address the recurring structural failure.
