Landslides, Flash Floods, and HSC Exam Postponement in Chattogram Division

Heavy monsoon rainfall starting July 4, 2026, triggered extensive flash floods, waterlogging, and multiple landslides across the Chattogram Division, impacting Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Rangamati, Bandarban, and Khagrachhari. The disasters resulted in 29 confirmed fatalities, widespread inundation, over 12,000 shelter seekers in 1,057 centers, and the forced postponement of HSC and equivalent examinations.
