Embankment breach at Kailani sub-project in Madhyanagar, Sunamganj

Following heavy rainfall, the No. 20 PIC embankment at the Kailani sub-project in Madhyanagar, Sunamganj, breached on the night of April 30, 2026. Local administration, water development board officials, and residents collaborated to control the breach using geo-bags and bamboo, successfully containing the water ingress by May 1, 2026.
